New Director of Applied Abilities Program North

Maria Prince is the new Director of the Santa Maria Applied Abilities Program.  She comes to UCP WORK, Inc. with over 25 years of experience in the field of human services, having directed a day program in northern San Luis Obispo County for 9 years, specializing in community inclusion and employment services, and she has worked with children with autism in crisis (behavioral) homes for the past 15 years. 
 
Maria’s background in creating safe and supportive environments that nurture choice and independence will truly enhance the experience for participants in our Applied Abilities Program, and her emphasis on employment will support and advance our efforts in braided services.
