Helping People become Independent

Seasons Greetings From the Executive Director

By Rae van Seenus on Dec 19, 2018 at 05:45 PM in UCP Work Inc Blog

During this holiday season, we offer our sincerest gratitude to our local communities for supporting the programs and services provided by UCP WORK, Inc. With Santa Barbara Art Works underway, more than ever, we have relied on the generosity of the community to help us provide a downtown venue for resident artists to create beautiful works of art, curate exhibits, work alongside community artists, meet with loyal customers and learn every aspect of running a retail business. We thank the downtown arts district for their warm welcome and we look forward to participating in future art events.

We are deeply grateful for our direct support staff, and leadership team, who provide vital services to over 500 children and adults with disabilities throughout the Tri-Counties, and we thank our Board of Directors for their generosity and unwavering support. We are also thankful for every person we serve, their family members and our community partners.

In 2019, we look forward to providing new and innovative employment programs, and working with community leaders to address the need for affordable and accessible housing, expanding community integration programs and continuing to sponsor the Rolling Rebels Power Wheelchair Soccer team and local special education classes.

On behalf of all of us at UCP WORK, Inc. we extend our gratitude and best wishes for your continued success and hope you have a most joyous holiday season. We wish you peace and happiness during this season and throughout the year.

Warmly,
Kathy Webb
Executive Director
