UCP WORK, Inc. Board of Directors

As co-chairs of UCP WORK, Inc., Board of Directors, we find ourselves closing 2019 with a heartfelt announcement. As many of you know by now, at the end of January we will be bidding a fond farewell to Kathy Webb, our Executive Director, who has led the organization for close to 19 years. Kathy, who has worked in the field of human services for 45 years, will be leaving behind a legacy, given the expansion of the organization, a creative array of programs centered on everyone’s unique needs and preferences and a philosophy that we are all in this together.

We know that Kathy’s decision to retire was bittersweet but knowing that the organization would be in great hands has assured her and us, that we can continue to move UCP WORK, Inc., forward in a positive direction.

Judy Linares New Executive Director

We are excited to announce that on January 27, 2020, Judy Linares, the current Director of Program Services for UCP WORK, Inc., will be the new Executive Director. Judy has been with the organization since 1997, starting her journey as a direct support professional and then becoming the director of case management while overseeing employment services. A graduate of Castleton State College with a BA in social work, Judy also holds a Certification in Rehabilitation Administration from San Diego State University. Judy has been working in the field of human services since 1994 and has spent her entire career as an advocate and volunteer. In her spare time, Judy loves spending time with her family and friends in the great outdoors, hiking all the trails throughout the Santa Barbara foothills.

We hope that you will join us in congratulating Judy on her new position. You can reach out directly to Judy at: [email protected] or by phone at: (805) 566-9000.
